Biography

Rodrigo Alejandro Gómez Torre is a research fellow at the Faculty of Law at the University of Salamanca (Spain), and associated professor at the Faculty of Law at the National University of Cuyo (Argentina). He received his master's in Business Legal Advice from the Open University of Catalonia (Spain), and his PhD in Private Law from the University of Salamanca (Spain). He was a visiting scholar at Ca´Foscari University of Venice (Italy) and at the University of Coimbra (Portugal). Much of his work focuses on the interaction between New Technologies, Intellectual Property and Law. Under the auspicies of a Margarita Salas Fellowship, he is currently studying developing legal responses to the challenges posed by digital platforms' activities
