Biography
Cristian C. Fernández Lopera is a disaster risk manager with an emphasis on public policies. Interest in disaster risk finance and socioeconomic vulnerability to disasters. Work experience in Colombia, Germany, Portugal and Uzbekistan, working with the public sector (national and local level), private sector and academia. 11 years of specific experience in disaster risk management. Cristian Camilo holds a PhD summa cum laude in Territory, Risk and Public Policies from the University of Coimbra in Portugal. Cristian Camilo has a Master's degree in Social Dynamics, Natural and Technological risks, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English, and is currently learning German.
