Visiting postdoctoral research intern is a designation attributed to PhD researchers undergoing periods of stay at the Centre for Social Studies with the aim of carrying out supervised research activities in accordance with a previously approved work plan. This stay can last between 12 and 18 months.

The application is comprised of motivation letter, statement of acceptance of the CES researcher who will supervise the visit, CV, copy of doctoral certificate, work plan and chronogram, and must be submitted to posdoutoramentos@ces.uc.pt. Any related clarification request must also be sent to the same email address. The results will be communicated within a period of no more than 30 days.

All the communications, publications or materials for the dissemination of scientific activities resulting from the post-doctoral visit must mention having benefitted from the internship, with a clear reference to the supervisor and to the research conducted during the stay at the Centre for Social Studies, University of Coimbra.
