Jaqueline Damasceno Silva
Biography
Bachelor in Economic Sciences (2016) and Master in Applied Economics (2018) from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). Currently pursuing an Interdisciplinary PhD in Political Economy at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (FEUC), in partnership with the Higher Institute of Economics and Management of the University of Lisbon (UL) and the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE), with the Center for Social Studies (CES) as the host institution. She is developing a thesis project entitled "THE WELFARE STATE REGIME AMONG POPULISMS: A Study on the Dynamics of Inequalities in Brazil in the post-stabilization period," funded by The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), reference 2023.01392.BD. Her research focuses on Brazilian Economic History and Socioeconomic Development and Inequalities. She served as an economics and finance lecturer at the Alves Faria University Center (2018-2019) and in the Diplomadia pre-CACD course (2020-2023), as well as a guest lecturer in applied statistics in the Biotechnology course at the Institute of Tropical Pathology and Public Health of the Federal University of Goiás (2017).
