Biography

Since 2006, Alexandra Pereira has been the assistant of the Scientific Board of the Centre for Social Studies, also coordinating the Events, Communication and Image Office since 2011. Prior to that she was manager of the International Project FEDERES - Formation et Dévelopement de l'Expertise des Ressources en Europe du Sud (Interreg IIIB Sudoe 2002-2005), she was a member of the Observatory of Local Governments (2003-2006) and teacher of Sociology of Civil Service and Professional Deontology at the Centro de Estudos e Formação Autárquica (2006-2009). She graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (International Relations) where she post-graduated in Sociology - Local Policies and Decentralization: The New Social Areas.
