Mariana Riquito


Biography

Mariana Riquito is a PhD Candidate at the University of Amsterdam and a Junior Researcher at CES. At CES, she is part of ECOSOC - Ecology & Society Lab and collaborates with the HORIZON Project GREENPATHS. Mariana successfully completed the Joint Program in International Relations and Political Sciences. She holds a Master's Degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra and a Master's Degree in Sociology & Political Sciences from Sciences Po Bordeaux. Mariana is currently researching and writing about the contested realm of the energy transition, exploring debates on extractivism, ecofeminism, ontological pluralism, and socioecological alternatives.
