The theme of this lecture is a research project that Pierre Guibentif is developing on the social transformations underway in the world and how they should be integrated into the scientific agenda of sociology of law. The aim is to share a theoretical framework and empirical studies that can contribute to a research agenda for the present and future of sociology of law.

Bio note

Pierre Guibentif is a full professor at ISCTE-IUL. He is President of the ISA Research Committee on Sociology of Law. He was Director of the Maison des Sciences de L'Homme Paris Saclay and the International Institute for the Sociology of Law in Oñati. He is the founder of the APS Thematic Section on Sociology of Law and Justice.
