Bio note

Émilie | Autistic, ADHD, mother of two boys, one of whom is also autistic. Diagnosed at age 37 after her son's diagnosis. Lecturer, speaker, trainer in the field of autism in the school community. Self-taught. Retired due to total disability since September this year, due to co-occurring conditions and chronic illnesses. Member of the APVA (Portuguese Association for the Voice of Autistic People) Advisory Board. Author of the site “Mas não pareces autista com rodas” [But you don't seem like an autistic person on wheels].

Sofia Perestrelo, Specialist in general nd family medicine since 2008 at ULS Matosinhos. Holds a degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto. Member of the Advisory Board of the Associação Portuguesa Voz do Autista (APVA).
