Diana Viveiros
Biography
Diana Viveiros is a PhD candidate in Human Rights in Contemporary Societies at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, and a researcher specializing in international security and human rights law. Her research introduces a new conceptualization of the Climate-Disaster-Conflict Nexus, focusing on the recognition of human rights at the regional level and exploring how regional organizations respond to disasters within conflict settings. Diana holds a Master's degree in Strategic Studies of Defense and International Security from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF). She earned a Bachelor's degree in Law, with a specialization in International Law, from the State University of Amazonas, and a Bachelor's degree in Administration from the Federal University of Amazonas. Her main research interests include human rights, disasters, conflicts, and regional responses.
